朱偉恆 Alan CHU









Currently Principal Keyboard of Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Alan Chu has emerged as one of the most

versatile and sought-after pianists in Hong Kong. He has worked with Hungarian Symphony Orchestra,

King’s College Choir Cambridge and Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, among others. He is a frequent

guest on RTHK Radio 4, a jury member at the Hong Kong-Asia Piano Open Competition, and a part-time

lecturer at The Hong Kong Institute of Education and The Open University of Hong Kong. Graduated from

Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music in London, he obtained Master of Music and Bachelor

of Music degrees with First Class Honours respectively, and is the recipient of ‘Very Highly Commended’

honour for RAM Lloyd Hartley Prize (for the best postgraduate final recital). He was a prize-winner at

Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition, North London Piano Competition and Jaques

Samuel Intercollegiate Piano Competition, among others.
