積極參與本地樂團演出，曾任香港節慶管弦樂團及香港中文大學崇基管弦樂團低音大提琴首席，亦曾參與泛亞交響樂團、香港愛樂民樂團等樂團演出。近年亦嘗試參與樂隊指揮工作，現為沙田官立中學中樂團指揮及樂樂國樂團助理指揮。朱氏樂於推動本地音樂發展，曾協助策劃本地不同規模的文化藝術活動。現正籌組胡琴組合「弓弦作樂」，旨在推廣胡琴音樂。朱氏現就讀香港中文大學音樂文學碩士課程。
Chu is an active double bass player. He was the Principal of Double Bass in Hong Kong Festival Orchestra and Chung Chi Orchestra of Chinese University of Hong Kong. He had also participated in Pan Asia Symphony, Hong Kong Music Lover Chinese Orchestra, etc. Chu has also engaged in conducting orchestra recently. He is now the conductor of Sha Tin Government Secondary School Chinese Orchestra and assistant conductor of Yao Yueh Chinese Music Association. As a keen supporter to local music, he had organized various arts & cultural events in Hong Kong. He had assisted in founding the Huqin ensemble “Goin’ Music” to promote music of Huqin (Chinese fiddle). He is currently studying in the Master of Arts Programme in Music of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
